Lindsay will deliver his presentation entitled Generational Differences; What's the Big Deal? This presentation has been approved by HRCI for recertification credits under the Diversity and Inclusion competency.
Lindsay retired after 31 years as a Human Resources professional. He is currently an Adjunct professor at Belhaven University teaching H.R. courses in the Master’s programs.
An avid volunteer, Lindsay served as President of the Mississippi State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Capital Area Human Resource Association and the Mississippi Association of Colleges and Employers. His board service includes the Southeastern Regional Council of SHRM, the Southeastern Association of Colleges and Employers, the Mississippi Association of Cooperative Education, the United Way of the Capital Area and the Mississippi College Placement Association
Lindsay was recognized as the 2002 HR Professional of the year for Mississippi, was awarded a Gannett Company President’s ring for excellence in HR and was honored with the 2006 United Way’s president’s award. He holds the lifetime certification of Senior Professional in H.R. and the Advanced Safety Certification from the National Safety Council. Academically, he holds a B.S. in mathematics from Ohio University and a M.B.A from Washington University.
Most importantly, Lindsay is a child of God and is married to the former Jeanetta Broughton and is the father of four wonderful children and three spoiled grandsons.
